Late Thursday night, a high-speed unidentified truck collided with a car on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and leaving four others critically injured.
A police official provided details on Friday, stating that all seven occupants of the car sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, three of them succumbed to their injuries, while the condition of the remaining four remains critical.
Upon receiving the report, police arrived at the scene, took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examinations. Arvind Kumar, the station officer of Dadri, mentioned that the passengers were en route to Faridabad.
The officer confirmed that the collision occurred when the unidentified truck struck the car, leading to severe injuries for all seven individuals inside.
The deceased have been identified as Gaurav, Gautam, and Lokesh, while the four others continue to fight for their lives. The police are actively investigating the incident.
